Dream Vacation House on Lake

vacation homes

Paige Sumblin Schnell, the designer of this dream home on Lake Martin, Alabama, paired rustic wood and stone, crisp white and neutrals to create a relaxed look The designer's inventive approach, with a little bit of French influence like graceful chandeliers in unexpected places, keeps this fabulous vacation home light and unconventional and brings in plenty of natural light. The soothing color palette doesn't deter from the main attraction: the view.
Continuing the neutral palette, large French doors lead from the living room onto a Beaumaniere limestone porch. The dock features a stone fireplace, grill and dining area to further encourage the indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
